SAP Nurseries are the leading suppliers of trees and shrubs in Ireland and one of the largest nurseries in Europe. With over 400 acres of trees and up to 1 million containerised shrubs produced each year, we supply a comprehensive range of plants and in the past have supplied some of the most ambitious local authority contracts ever undertaken in this country, including the redevelopment of Dublin's O'Connell street.
The range of plants we produce in Cahir include anything from 1 year old tree seedlings, through shrubs and herbaceous plants right up to 25 year old semi mature trees. With the recent addition of our spring ring unit for containerised trees we can now continue to supply trees throughout the summer months.
With over 30 years experience of supplying local authorities, in recent years SAP Nurseries have forged closer relationships with both local authorities and landscape architects. This co-operation means more projects are being delivered on time and on budget.
Recently we have successfully undertaken contract grow arrangements with a number of local authorities. In these situations the plant requirements of a project are discussed and decided on at a very early stage. The main advantage of these arrangements is that many of the plants can be produced to the exact specification required for the project.
